Rugali coffee from Rwanda is a single-origin specialty coffee from the mountainous region of Nyamasheke, one of the most prestigious coffee-growing areas in Rwanda. Grown at 1,600 metres above sea level, it thrives in extremely fertile volcanic soils, which give the bean a unique and remarkably clean flavour profile.
This coffee is washed, a process that highlights its bright acidity and complex flavours. Rugali is a Red Bourbon variety, known for its high quality and its ability to produce a smooth yet full-bodied cup, rich in nuance. Every cherry is hand-picked, so only the best fruit is selected for a superior cup.
